Ideally located next to the Loonse en Drunense Dunes national park, the Marvilla Parks Kaatsheuvel (formerly Het Genieten) campsite is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful holiday close to nature.

The Loonse en Drunense Dunes were classified as a national park in 2002. Did you know that they span more than 3,500 hectares of dunes? If you like to go cycling or walking, it might just be your new favourite place! Depart the campsite and discover a wide variety of trees and drifting sands, and stroll along the extensive stream valley area.

And if you want to get closer to nature, there is the Beekse Bergen Safari Park for a day observing the wildlife, just a 30-minute drive from the campsite.

For an enchanting moment, don’t miss the most famous theme park in the Netherlands, the Efteling, just 3 km from the campsite! Whether young or old, no one will get bored there!

The campsite location is also a great opportunity to visit the age-old Burgundian villages and towns, such as the fortified town of Heusden or ‘s Hertogenbosch to learn more about Dutch history, culture, and the environment, or to go shopping. For those with a sophisticated palate, don’t forget to sample an authentic Bossche Bol!

During your stay, make the most of the opportunity to take in a quick city trip to one of the Netherlands’ larger cities, such as Rotterdam, Tilburg, or the iconic Amsterdam!

At Kaatsheuvel (formerly Het Genieten), we offer top services so that you can enjoy the best holiday possible! When you book and arrive at the campsite, you benefit from a wealth of personalised services.

You could opt for one of our different mobile home ranges, featuring equipped kitchens, bedrooms and private bathrooms. However, if you have your own caravan, tent or camper van, there are spacious campsite pitches available with an electricity connection, water, drainage, and cable TV.

To make your stay with us even more comfortable, free Wi-Fi is available at the reception desk. Fresh bread is provided directly on site and there is a supermarket within 3 km of the campsite.

In addition to the campsite services, you can access all the facilities.

Feel like a bike ride along the dunes? You can rent a bike on the campsite to explore the surroundings.

Appropriate sanitary facilities have been set up to accommodate children and people with disabilities. A launderette is also at your disposal.

For a drink or a snack, take a seat in the cosy brasserie. With its spacious terrace, you can savour your meal while your children enjoy themselves in the outdoor or indoor playgrounds. And if you have something to celebrate during your stay, the Grand Café, an inviting reception space, is the perfect location!

The outdoor water playground, a genuine adventure playground made of wood and stone and directly built into the sand of the dunes, is designed to give your children the best playtime ever! However, if it is cold outside, there is still the indoor playground as an alternative option.
