The afternoon is probably the best time to go for a walk or a bike ride to explore the amazing landscape of the dunes of Loonse and Drunense! You can bring your own bike, but if you do not have one, bikes for all the family are available to rent at the reception desk.

And we are well aware that going on holiday with your baby may sometimes be complicated due to the fear of forgetting something. Not to worry, at Kaatsheuvel (formerly Het Genieten), we make your life easier!

You have realised you have not brought enough clothes for your children for the whole holiday? Don’t worry, you can wash and dry what you have at the launderette.

The launderette is located next to the campsite shop. The washing machine and tumble dryer go easily by bank card and can be used 24/7 use. Detergent is included.

Get ready for a real change of scenery and the chance to experience local flavours in the campsite brasserie! Are you staying with us at the campsite but don’t feel like cooking? Here you can find everything you need to eat at any time of day. Whether dining as a couple or with your children and friends, enjoy typical schnitzels, burgers, and a gourmet desert. If you prefer eating something delicious within the comfort of your own accommodation, you can order your food to take away!

Fresh sandwiches can be found in the minimarket!

In the morning, grab your newspaper at the reception and enjoy a fresh bread snack at the brasserie!

While you eat your meal, your children can make use of the opportunity to play and zoom down the slides of the indoor playground.

In the warmer season, take in the sun on the brasserie terrace and watch your children enjoy the outdoor and water playgrounds, ideally located in front of Grand Café Sans!

And if you want to celebrate an anniversary, a birthday or wedding, the Grand Café Sands would be the perfect place to make this day a memorable one! For more information, do not hesitate to ask our reception team and consult the Grand Café Sands website.

On site, your four-legged friend will share your moments in the bar and restaurant (before 5pm)!

Go on an adventure together on the walking paths and in the surrounding forest… a little further on, take a cool break at the water point.

The campsite is ideally located, so you have access to local services in just a few minutes on foot, by bike or by car.
